With over 13 years experience of teaching accountancy qualifications and over 1,000 students under our belts you can be reassured that Anglia Accountancy training is the right provider for you. We offer a full range of courses designed and tailored to suit your needs. Our ethos is to deliver “a professional approach to a professional career”.
About Anglia Accountancy training
Anglia Accountancy training started life back in 1997 and soon became an independent training centre that rivalled any other within the greater Peterborough area. The centre was established by myself, Victor Gidney, and my wife Jenny and the training centre has gone from strength to strength with nearly 1,000 students passing through our doors.
This is a long way from the very first class of 20 students who began their training in the boardroom of Peterborough United Football Club. Over the years, as student numbers increased and relationships with other educational establishments developed, AAt moved venues to accommodate the growth. We’re now proud to have settled into premises with multiple classrooms and a dedicated team of teaching staff on hand to get over 150 students through their qualifications each year.
AAt has also expanded out to the Greater Peterborough area establishing partnerships with Boston College in 2008. AAt provides teaching in the Boston and Spalding areas.

What AAt delivers
We help you to develop a career in accountancy. Whether you are completely new to the industry or looking to progress your career further AAt can help.
We specialise in delivering AAT Qualifications from Foundation level all the way up to Technician level. We work with students on an individual basis to tailor a training programme that is right for them. We also offer help and advice on the financial support available in order for you to gain a qualification. AAt also offer other courses such as CIMA and ACCA, subject to demand.
What makes AAt unique?
Unlike other training establishments AAt offers a very personal approach.
“We get to know our students. It shouldn’t just be about understanding the theoretical side to accountancy, learning should also be fun and that’s what we inject with social events and team work” – comments Jenny Gidney, Managing Partner.
We also understand that the circumstances of our students vary and therefore we like to offer multiple options when it comes down to training so that everyone can benefit from further education. With a strong team of tutors and advisors on hand we are always around to offer help and advice. Finally, our great location makes it easy for students to get to, and has amenities such as on site parking and a café nearby.
